Do not repeat everything equally often
An easy word does not need daily exposure, and a complex word does not need one repetition per week. The intervals should depend on how confidently you recall the material.
This way, class time is spent on things that really require attention.
Remembering is more important than rereading
Before opening the translation, try to restore the meaning and phrase yourself. It is this effort that makes memory more stable.
An erroneous answer is also useful: it shows what material needs to be returned earlier or explained differently.
Add a voice stage
A word is considered active not when you recognized it on the card, but when you were able to use it in your own phrase.
After repetition, say a short answer with a few learned expressions.
