Privacy Policy
Effective 25 August 2026. We explain data processing in plain language and collect only what is needed to run the service.
What data we process
- Account identifiers: email address and the sign-in provider identifier.
- Learning profile, selected languages, goals, progress, attempts, answer transcripts, corrections and mistake memory.
- Audio that the user sends for speech recognition and feedback.
- Subscription status and store transaction identifiers. SpeakRole does not receive full bank card details.
- Technical logs, support requests and aggregated events needed for security and reliability.
Speech and AI services
Audio and answer text may be sent to operator-configured speech recognition and AI services. This data is used to return a transcript and feedback, keep the service running, prevent abuse and investigate failures.
Retention
Saved attempt audio is deleted automatically after 30 days by default. Transcripts, learning progress, support requests and account-related data are kept until the account is deleted. De-identified operational totals and records required for accounting, fraud prevention or legal compliance may be kept longer.
Your choices
In the app you can export account data, change learning email settings or permanently delete your account. There is also a separate account deletion page.
Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, server session tokens are also hashed, and Premium access is verified on the server.
