Why learning through your native language can speed up speaking

Use a familiar language as support, then gradually answer independently.

Support reduces excess load

When a task is new, explaining it through familiar language helps you quickly understand the meaning and notice connections between phrases. This is especially useful at the start and in difficult scenarios.

The support should not become a constant translation of every word. Its purpose is to provide context so that you can answer on your own.

Move from prompt to speech

First read the meaning and example, then close the translation and try to restore the phrase. After that, change it to suit your situation.

Gradually increase the proportion of answers in the target language: from one phrase to several related sentences and dialogue.

Who is this approach especially useful for?

It is convenient for those who are already tired of scattered lists and want to understand why each design is needed. It also helps to start talking to people who are afraid of making mistakes without complete confidence.

It is important to maintain the goal: the native language supports the path to conversation, not replaces it.
